
Tools to Facilitate Student Success with Your Learning Experience
Preceptors often don’t feel they have time or know how to go about creating an appropriate amount of structure within the experiences they provide for student pharmacists. In this CPE course, preceptors have the opportunity to learn and apply simple quality improvement techniques to maintain and enhance their learning experience.
Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacy preceptors should be able to:
1. Self assess how they operationalize their learning experience
2. Create/modify a syllabus for their learning experience
3. Use this syllabus as a framework to guide a structured learning experience
4. Modify their learning experience to meet students’ needs
5. Improve their learning experience through a quality improvement process
