Advances in the treament and prevention of HIV provide a better quality of life for those living with, or at risk, for the disease. This course provides an update on oral and long-acting injectable medications to treat HIV.

Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE course, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
1. Describe the changing epidemiology of HIV and general pathophysiology
2. List current and future treatment approaches in managing HIV
3. Implement pharmacy-based interventions to better support patients living with, and at risk for, HIV
