3. Identify infectious diseases that are spread by parasites, and their symptoms.

Module 5: A Pharmacy's Guide to Veterinary Compounding

Upon successful completion of this module, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
1. Discuss where errors in nonsterile compounding are likely to occur and ways to prevent them.
2. Review the laws surrounding nonsterile compounding in veterinary practice.
3. Identify good compounding practices for compounding nonsterile preparations for veterinary patients.
4. Describe the components, steps, and techniques for preparing suspensions and transdermal compounds.
5. Create a procedure for a nonsterile preparation for a patient case.
