Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacy preceptors should be able to:
1. Describe the current landscape of goals and best practices in pharmacy didactic and experiential education.
2. Recognize the growing role of artificial intelligence (AI) in shaping pharmacy experiential education and its limitations and pitfalls.
3. Identify when AI tools are suitable and when traditional learning methods or human expertise may be more appropriate.
4. Describe ethical considerations related to the teaching about responsible use of AI in the pharmacy experiential setting.
5. Recommend best practices for incorporating AI into the pharmacy education landscape.
