For more than two decades, CEimpact has helped pharmacists and pharmacy technicians stay educated, credentialed, and ready to practice. Today, we’re excited to announce the next chapter in that mission: the launch of NotchRx, a compliance management platform built specifically for pharmacy, now live at notchrx.com.
What We Heard from Pharmacy Teams
Education has always been at the heart of what we do. But education is only one part of maintaining operational readiness. Across the pharmacy organizations we work with, we have heard a consistent story: teams invest in education, but proving completion, tracking requirements, and connecting it to day-to-day compliance remains a scattered, manual grind.
Policies and procedures live in shared drives with inconsistent version control and limited visibility, license and CPR renewals are tracked on spreadsheets and whiteboards, and OIG/SAM exclusion screenings are run by hand every month. When an inspector or accreditation surveyor arrives, teams scramble to pull it all together.
NotchRx was built to close that gap.
From Scattered to Centralized
NotchRx brings pharmacy compliance into one centralized platform:
- Document control and acknowledgments. Manage master SOPs across locations, automatically populate site-specific details, maintain complete version histories, and track staff acknowledgments.
- Credentials and exclusion screening. Track individual and location-level credentials with automated renewal reminders, while monthly OIG/SAM exclusion screenings provide clear alerts when potential matches require review and preserve a documented screening history.
- Compliance workflows and reporting. Standardize recurring audits, new-hire onboarding, and event-driven tasks with step-by-step tracking, then export audit-ready records for inspections and accreditation visits.
- Connected education and state requirements. Track continuing education against each state’s rule set, including cycle length, total hours, and topic-specific minimums by license type. Native integration with CEimpact’s learning platform means assigned training flows to your team and completions sync back automatically, closing the loop between education and compliance.
The platform is modular, so organizations can start with the capabilities they need most and expand over time. Every field, reminder, and report was designed around pharmacy operations, not retrofitted from a generic compliance system.
Road-Tested at NACDS Total Store Expo
Over three days, our team sat down for nearly 40 meetings with pharmacy leaders from national chains and health systems to regional grocers, wholesalers, and independent pharmacy groups.
The response reinforced the need we set out to address. Leaders across organizations of different sizes described familiar pain points: compliance documentation scattered across systems, manual license reconciliation, and no single source of truth when it matters most. Across the demos, a consistent theme emerged: teams were eager for a simpler, pharmacy-specific way to manage compliance.
Richard Waithe Joins CEimpact to Lead NotchRx
We’re equally excited to share that Richard Waithe, PharmD, has joined CEimpact as Vice President of Product and Growth, leading NotchRx and driving sales across the broader organization.
Richard is a pharmacist with deep experience at the intersection of pharmacy practice and technology, having previously led operations at a drug information company and a digital patient education organization. He has spent his career building tools that make pharmacists’ lives easier, and NotchRx is the latest expression of that work.
Education and Compliance, Finally Under One Roof
CEimpact accredits more than 900 hours of continuing education annually and reaches a substantial national audience of learners through CE subscriptions, our weekly accredited podcast, technician workforce development, and practice readiness programs. With NotchRx, that education now connects directly to the operational compliance it supports: SOPs tied to training, credentials tied to renewals, and one dashboard to see it all.
