This course provides preceptors with a rationale for utilizing topic discussions as well as methods for incorporating topic discussions into their rotations. Seasoned preceptors will also gain insight on how to take their existing topic discussions to the next level through practical ways to revitalize and revamp these learning experiences.  

Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacy preceptors should be able to:
1. Explain how topic discussions can be incorporated in Pharmacy Practice Experiences
2. Describe the benefits of utilizing topic discussions in Pharmacy Practice Experiences
3. Compare and contrast the various types of topic discussions that can be integrated in Pharmacy Practice Experiences
4. Discuss methods for troubleshooting common issues with topic discussions
