With 1.3 million Americans currently diagnosed with Rheumatoid Arthritis, this specialty condition often finds itself being managed in multiple sites of care. Learn how pharmacy contributes to the team care of RA patients with this guideline update.

Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
1. List the signs and symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis
2. Identify commonly used medications for the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis
3. Determine eligible patients for disease activity scale assessment
4. Assess the medication profile of patients with rheumatoid arthritis for potential common adverse reactions of disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDS)
