Personal Protective Equipment Training for Pharmacy Learners 2024
This course is designed to provide pharmacy learners with a background in personal protective equipment. The need for personal protective equipment arose during the COVID-19 pandemic. As such, this course will provide information on COVID-19 and its implications for pharmacy sites, in addition to how to utilize PPE.
Upon successful completion of this course, learners should be able to:
1. Identify the associated symptoms, clinical presentation, diagnosis, and risk factors.
2. Describe methods for reducing the spread of COVID-19.
3. Discuss appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and infection prevention practices including donning and doffing of PPE.
