The benefits of meditation and mindfulness are often discussed, but are there downsides too? This course discusses a recent study on the potential risks of meditation so you can decide for yourself whether the positive benefits outweigh the cons.

2. Identify the adverse effects and risks of mindfulness-based programs and meditation
3. Describe the strengths and limitations of a clinical trial
4. Determine the clinical utility of a treatment based on a clinical trial
5. Monitor patients for meditation related adverse effects
