Significant health inequities persist within the LGBTQ community, underscoring the responsibility of pharmacy professionals to provide equitable and affirming care. This course explores the social, cultural, and systemic factors that influence LGBTQ health outcomes and offers guidance on inclusive communication, terminology, and best practices across pharmacy settings. You will gain the knowledge and tools to identify and address disparities, foster welcoming environments, and implement strategies that advance the health and well-being of LGBTQ individuals.

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
