Learners will gain insights into personalized interventions to optimize patient well-being, emphasizing the crucial integration of holistic nutrition in pharmacy practice. 

Learning Objectives

Upon successful completion of this application-based CPE course, pharmacists should be able to:
1. Identify common medications that can induce a nutrient depletion.
2. Recognize the signs and symptoms of common drug-induced nutrient depletion (DIND) interactions and the consequences if left unaddressed.
3. Describe strategies to mitigate DIND.
4. Discuss the role of the pharmacy team in the patient journey for persons with DIND.
5. Assess patient cases to determine potential for DIND.
6. Develop monitoring plans for persons with DIND taking supplements to treat DIND.
