Education Is Changing… And So Are We!
It is no secret that the way we view education is quickly evolving.
With social media and AI, the way we consume and produce education is significantly different than a decade ago (and even a year ago!).
With this intention, last week our leadership team met to discuss how our company will shift to keep up with these new industry trends.
Below are a few notable education trends that are shifting the way we think about pharmacy education:
1. Higher education is evolving (significantly)
Defining what the ROI is in higher education and advanced training is critical right now. The large investment in college tuition has more people thinking about the spend. More college-aged students are starting to ask: Is it worth going into debt before you start to earn a living?
2. Competence and Expertise is more critical than ever
Keeping up with current technology, innovation, and industry trends is critical to maintaining relevance and expertise in today’s competitive marketplace.
3. Industry Experts Partnering with Education Experts will be the new model
There are so many Thought Leaders with extensive expertise in a specific area of practice or niche. And while there are more ways than ever to create content, not all content is educational, informative, or credible. Education companies can assist these industry experts in making their content great and spreading their message. And, this is exactly what we do at CEimpact.
4. Measurable and Data-Driven Decisions will Drive Business
There is so much information at our fingertips. But once we learn it, what do we do with it? It’s great to have the knowledge, but the true impact lies in our ability to connect our learning to practice, business, or our own personal growth.
5. So.Much.Content.
Last but certainly not least – there is so.much.content available today – through news media, social media, books, magazines, television, blogs, podcasts, courses, and the list goes on! With the speed of technology advancements, and now AI, information is at an all-time high and can be overwhelming!
Of course, there is SO much more that is shaping the way we learn.
What do you think are opportunities and challenges to stay current – whether professionally or personally? I’d love to hear from you!
As always, have a great week and keep learning!
