The Law and Sexual Harassment (Technician)

Federal laws regarding sexual harassment in the workplace are enforced by the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. This course discusses circumstances that may be considered sexual harassment under the law, particularly allegations related to pharmacy personnel. Take this course to learn how to implement policies and procedures that mitigate risk for pharmacy teams. 

Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE course, pharmacy technicians should be able to:
1. Describe circumstances that may be considered as sexual harassment under the law.
2. Evaluate the conduct of pharmacy team personnel, within a context of alleged sexual harassment.
3. Comply with legal principles of sexual harassment, as implemented through the policies and procedures established by an employer of pharmacy technicians.
