Entrustable Professional Activities: How to Train and Build Trust
Entrustable Professional Activities (EPAs) are tasks that pharmacists should be able to complete upon graduation. Unfortunately, this framework has not been fully incorporated into experiential education. This program will help preceptors understand the changing professional competencies and augment didactic learner with practical, hands-on, activities that align to the EPAs.
Upon successful completion of this knowledge-based CPE course, pharmacy preceptors should be able to:
1. Summarize the key domains of pharmacy Entrustable Professional Activities.
2. Illustrate ways to incorporate Entrustable Professional Activities into experiential education.
3. Determine levels of entrustability for student pharmacists.
